Making your kid the world’s best creator.
ROBOTICS® education centre teaches children aged 4–18 to build, code and invent, using LEGO® Education as our basic tools. Every class is hands-on: kids try, fail, fix, and proudly watch their creation come to life.
by MAKING
Our students building with LEGO® Education
“Playing is fun ‘work’ for children.”
That is our concept, and it shapes every class we teach.
ROBOTICS® education centre is an educational institution dedicated to the development of robotics technology. We teach children aged 4 to 18, and we use LEGO® Education as our basic tools.
When children play while building an object, and keep practising it through investigation and by confronting problems, the result is a logical way of thinking, real solutions, and creativity. Our learning method is LEARNING by MAKING: children are trained to create or build anything.
The Lebak Bulus branch is part of the largest robotics centre network in Indonesia, headquartered in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. Same curriculum, same method, same standards, now close to home for families in South Jakarta.
Built on LEGO® Education, from the first brick to the first robot.
LEGO® Education is the LEGO Group’s line of learning kits made for the classroom, not the toy shelf. Developed with educators, the sets come with gears, motors, sensors and programmable hubs, so children move naturally from building to engineering to coding.
LEGO® Education kits
Every class is hands-on with genuine LEGO® Education sets, matched to the child’s age and level.
Student passport
Each student’s passport records the journey through every level, so progress is visible to child and parent.
Worksheets
Worksheets anchor each build in the concept behind it, from patterns and symmetry to gears, sensors and logic.
Familiar from day one
Kids already know LEGO® bricks, so the barrier is low. Their energy goes into ideas and problem-solving, not into learning the tool.
Grows with your child
From colour mosaics at age 4, to simple machines, to WeDo and MINDSTORMS® robots with sensors and code. One ecosystem from kindergarten to high school.
Real results that move
Motors and sensors make the effect of every line of code instantly visible. Children see cause and effect with their own eyes.
Competition-ready
LEGO® Education is used in classrooms worldwide and in robotics competitions such as the World Robot Olympiad (WRO), where our students compete.
LEARNING by MAKING
Practical implementation, not only theory. Every session follows the same flow:
Imagine
Understand the challenge and picture a solution.
Build
Assemble a model with LEGO® Education kits.
Code
Program the model so it moves and reacts.
Test & improve
Not working yet? Find out why, change it, try again.
Present
Explain the creation and how it works, with confidence.
A clear pathway, age 4 to 18.
Children are placed by age and ability after a trial class, then move up level by level, each one built on LEGO® Education.
Mosaic 1D, 2D & 3D
The first step into building. The programme is about 80% playing and 20% learning, so young children absorb concepts naturally.
Objectives: recognise colours, create patterns, learn counting, and build symmetrical structures.
Fun With Machine
Simple mechanical principles explored with LEGO® Education machine sets and a Construcpedia of building guides.
Objectives: solve problems using pictures, learn stability, and understand gears, pulleys, levers, wheels and axles.
Fun With Programming
Children build and program their first models with LEGO® Education WeDo activities on the computer.
Objectives: develop teamwork, learn simple programming, look for alternative solutions, and design robots.
Mechanic Engineering
How machines really work: students assemble mechanical projects that move under motor power.
Objectives: learn how machines work, and assemble and explore the principles of mechanics and real machines.
Programming
Sensors and programming from simple to complex, with LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education robots.
Objectives: learn sensors, motors and the microcontroller unit, and build logical programs.

Coding Class
Science Class
Robotics isn’t only for future engineers.
Not every child will design robots, and that isn’t the goal. Robotics trains thinking skills that pay off in whatever field they choose.
Logical thinking
Break big problems into small steps, spot patterns, and put instructions in the right order.
Creativity & imagination
There is no single right answer. Every child finds their own design and solution.
Resilience
Robot not moving? That’s part of the process. Kids learn patience and persistence, and to try again without fear.
Math & science made real
Gear ratios, speed, structure and force stop being abstract when kids build with them.
From users to creators
Screens turn from passive entertainment into tools for making something useful.
Ready for the future
Automation and programming will touch almost every career. An early STEM foundation helps kids adapt.
Why learn at ROBOTICS®?
What sets our classes apart.
A stage to compete, every year.
We organise our own competition each year and send students to national and international robotics olympiads.
Our achievements
A world with people who understand technology, work productively, and apply technology with all their creativity and responsibility to improve the quality of our lives.
Introducing young children to technology by teaching and training them to assemble robots, enhancing their creativity and imagination and developing their logical thinking through LEARNING by MAKING.
The largest robotics centre in Indonesia.
Frequently asked questions
Does my child need to know how to code?+
Not at all. Classes start from the basics, and the youngest levels (Mosaic and Fun With Machine) need no reading or coding at all.
Do I need to buy my own LEGO® set?+
No. LEGO® Education kits and the computers used for programming are provided in class during each session.
How is my child’s level determined?+
Through a trial class. Our teacher observes how your child builds and solves problems, then recommends the level that fits their age and ability.
How can parents follow their child’s progress?+
Every student has a student passport that records the levels and projects completed, alongside worksheets that show the concepts learned.
Can my child join competitions?+
Yes. Students can take part in the annual ROBOTICS® National Competition, and selected students compete at national olympiads and the World Robot Olympiad.
